» Reporting of an incident and/or grievance must be submitted in writing signed to a Winkler Skating Club executive member within 48 hours of such incident and will follow the "Course of Action".
Incidents may include:
- Any intentional physical contact, bodily or by throwing objects, which would be considered aggressive in nature by a responsible prudent person.
- Any type of threatening, intimidation, or any form of harassment of skates or other persons.
- Theft.
- Any destruction of defacement of rink property, including ice.
- Not following Code of Conduct or Best Practices.
» Should a parent, member, coach, executive member, and/or skater not adhere to the above Code of Conduct, the Winkler Skating Club Executive will hold such a person accountable and the executive is empowered to take the following action(s) in this order. The professional coaches contracted by the Winkler Skating Club are empowered to take steps one and two below toward the skaters if a skater does not adhere to the Code of Conduct.
- Upon return to the ice, a parent must accompany the skater to the rink for the next 90 days.
- Permanent club permission suspension.
- Notification of conduct violation and suspension sent to Skate Canada Manitoba.
